We have a Part time position available. **This role is a Max term role until Early April 2025.** You will be responsible for providing active support with activities of daily living and developing, implementing, and monitoring Individual Plans’ including personal care.

We are looking for hard working, focussed and team orientated people to provide active support to the residents. You must be someone who is pro-active not reactive. We require you to be able to think on your feet during shifts. Our residents have a range of support needs. Experience supporting clients with behaviours of concern & experience with non-verbal communication styles is beneficial. Our expectations is you will engage with our residents and their respective support networks, including families.

**The available role has the following roster requirements**:
**Roster splits: 61:30 / 54:00**: This roster is mix of short mornings, full day shifts and afternoon shifts. This roster also includes 2 Sleep over shifts per month.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Contribute to the day-to-day running of the house
- Develop planned activities in line with policies and guidelines
- Liaise with family members, medical services, departmental services, and external services to help meet client needs
- Administer medication treatments and therapies according to prescribed protocols or otherwise, seek appropriate medical assistance
- Implement development programs and identify and support learning opportunities

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Certificate 4 in Disability
- A current First Aid Certificate
- A current unrestricted Driver Licence
- A commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, skills, abilities, and personal goals of people with disabilities
- A hands-on leader and team player with positive behaviour support experience and leadership capabilities able to actively promote and provide best practice support to clients whilst supervising and mentoring other team members
- The ability to develop a positive relationship with service users and to support their Individual Personal Plan
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is essential
- Demonstrated compliance with NDIS requirements for Disability Support Workers
