**About the position**
The Equipment and Inventory Lead operates as part of the Workshop team. The purpose of the position is the management our equipment, tooling, and consumables for both the workshop and construction sites.
The position requires a sound knowledge of structural steel and piping materials, interstate & local transport and inventory management associated with the steel construction industry.

**About You**
- Proficient in warehouse management and inventory management, including best practice methodologies.
- Familiar with engineering and manufacturing terminology.
- Knowledge of Australian OHS regulations and standards.
- Experience with quality control and standards compliance relevant to warehousing.
- Willingness to suggest and implement process change to promote continuous improvement.
- Organisational and record keeping skills.
- Computer literate with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and a strong ability to master new systems and enhance their use.
- Ability to lead a small team when required.
- Willingness to suggest and implement process change to promote continuous improvement.
- Professional demeanour for dealing with external and internal customers.
Desirable Qualifications
- Forklift licence.
- Test and tag licence.
- Basic maintenance and trouble shooting experience for warehouse equipment.
