At Queens Park, we believe that kindergarten is the beginning of the formal education process, a stepping
- stone towards a positive start to life learning. We aim to provide a safe, welcoming and quality program, stimulating growth and development through partnerships with families and children. Using sustained shared thinking and intentional teaching in a play -based program we strive to achieve the best learning environment and experiences for all pre-school aged children. In keeping with the Victorian governments vision, we base ourselves on the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLF) a program that is reflected in Victorian Primary Schools. The VEYLF covers five outcomes for children’s learning experiences: Identity, Environment, Wellbeing, Learning and Communication.

**Description**
- KinderLink and the Queens Park Kindergarten, are looking for a suitably qualified Early Childhood Teacher for a mixed 3- and 4-year-old age group in a sessional kindergarten program for a team-teaching role, The position commences on the 29th of January 2025. Class times are Wednesday and Friday 8:30am - 4pm with a group of 25 children. The successful applicant will:

- Express a genuine passion and interest in contemporary pedagogy.
- Demonstrate flexibility and innovation in educational programming and implementation.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Be willing to work as part of a team to provide high quality education and care for children.
- Show a clear understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law Act and Regulations, The National Quality Standards, Child Safe Standards and the Victoria Early Years Learning and Development Framework.
- Have an interest in integrating a nature aspect to the program.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor of Education or ACECQA approved equivalent
- Current Early Childhood VIT
- Working with Children Check
- Current first aid, anaphylaxis, and asthma
- Current Police Check.
- Mandatory Reporting Certificate
