**About the Company**:
Our client, conveniently located in the south east, are seeking a Credit professional with leadership and management experience to join their team in a leadership role.

**Position Description**
With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Credit Team Leader to join their team.

Your duties will include but not be limited to the following:

- Manage the credit function on national scale
- Lead end to end credit, collections and debt management activities
- Facilitate training and up-skilling within the team
- Implement new strategies to increase efficiencies
- Conduct continuous due diligence on credit processes
- Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Analyse and provide accurate creditors and debtors reporting

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Full function credit control
- Responsibility for a mixed ledger of clients including major and smaller accounts
- Daily banking and allocations
- Monthly reconciliations
- Month-end reporting
- Inbound queries
- Customer refunds
- Managing internal and external collection processes and partnering with a third party collections agency as well as maintaining that relationship.
- Managing a team and dealing with escalations.
- Offering support and guidance to junior members, utilising leadership experience and skills to reinforce a positive work culture.
- Ad hoc duties as requested

**Skills / Experience / Qualifications**:

- Experience in Accounts Receivable
- Experience within a leadership role
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and strong problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service focus with a strong understanding of commercial practices
- Systems experience
- At least 3-years experience in a similar role
- Exposure with SAP or another large ERP is advantageous
