Dog Groomer

One&Only Pet Grooming is grooming salon in Turramurra. One&Only difference is we aim to assist dog owners to manage the grooming of their dogs by providing choice style. One&Only aim to deliver the most natural way of pet care with their welfare.
- Full Time or Part Time employment
- No work on Sundays or Public Holidays
- Not a customer facing role
- Work in a small grooming team with one or two other groomers

Qualifications & experience
- A minimum of 2 years experience in field

Tasks & responsibilities
- Maintaining breed, clip and brand/product knowledge.
- Providing care for the pets whilst in the salon.
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness
- Maintaining safe animal handling
- Bathing, drying, de-matting and clipping dogs of varying breeds and coat types.
- Grooming and styling pets according to pet owners’ instructions or standard grooming styles.
- Accommodating special requests that pet owners may have.
- Identifying health issues in pets, such as ear infections, skin conditions, or tooth decay, and informing of these observations.
- Ensuring that all pets are safe during the grooming process.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
