**The types of roles we have available and specific skills required**
- **The Clinical Follow Up team**:you will assist with the coordination of follow up for CaSP as well as Molecular Screening and Therapeutics Program patients. This role involves coordination and administrative work, with confidential data collection and management. This role doesn’t require previous clinical trial experience. Research assistants in this team work on a hybrid model (3 days on-site minimum). - **The Biospecimen team (5 days on-site)**: You will coordinate patient participation activities for the CaSP, including tasks such as preparing, tracking, and receiving biospecimens, as well as collecting and managing clinical data. Adaptability is a key skill required in this team, due to the regular changes with processing specimens. Previous experience in a pathology service is advantageous. Research Assistants on this team must be on-site 5 days a week to manage campus specimens. - **Trial Liaison team**: you will assist in the coordination of activities related to the Omico associated clinical trials within the CaSP nationally. This includes assisting to identify eligible patients and re-issue MOB reports as required, monitoring and tracking patient enrolment to the Omico associated trials through follow-up with medical oncologists and patients and generating reports for industry partners. Previous experience in clinical research and knowledge of clinical trials will be highly regarded. Research assistants in this team work on a hybrid model (3 days on-site minimum). - Have demonstrated experience in the implementation, coordination and management of clinical research projects (highly regarded)
- Have excellent communication skills with a high attention to detail
- Have demonstrated interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Have excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with a proven capacity to prioritise own workload and meet deadlines
- Have knowledge and understanding of the importance of maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality
- Have demonstrated experience providing administrative and research support with the ability to work well under pressure
