As we grow, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic **Mandarin Speaking qualified ECT for a Higher Leadership position** to join our close-knit and supportive team in **Chatswood **to oversee the **Mandarin language program**.
**For this position, your core responsibilities will be to**:
- Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the centre
- Plan, supervise and implement the program for the room in accordance with the policies
- Lead and mentor the educators in the room
- Build fantastic rapport and incorporate a strong home-school partnership with the parents
- Ensure the Centre is compliant and exceeds all the regulatory requirements listed in the National Regulations and National Quality Standards, with a focus on providing an excellent level of education and care to the children.
- Ensure that a developmental and educational appropriate program is planned and implemented for each child, which takes into consideration the school curriculum.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programmes and record improvements for future programming.
**What we are looking for**
- A Bachelors in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent)
- Current/Valid Working With Children’s Check (WWCC) and relevant First Aid Certificates
- Good understanding of Mandarin and National Regulations and National Quality Standards
- Must have experience as a Responsible Person (RP) in the centre
- Previous working experience in Early Childhood Education as an Assistant Director (preferred)
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- The desire to make a positive contribution to a professional, collaborative and focused team
- A love for children and a desire to make childcare a long-term career
- Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high-quality care
