Join us at Queensland Parliament as a part-time Parliamentary Attendant - Chamber and Tours. This role is perfect for the individual who thrives in a customer-facing position, enjoys a high level of visitor interaction and enjoys undertaking a variety of tasks. In this part-time role, you will work 21.75 hours per week over multiple days.
**About the Role**:
We are seeking a dedicated Parliamentary Attendant (Chamber and Tours) to provide chamber and tour support services to Members, staff, and visitors. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of the Legislative Assembly Chamber and enhancing the experience of our guests.
**What You'll Do**:
**Chamber Support**: Provide effective support services in the Legislative Assembly Chamber during Parliamentary sittings.
**Tours**: Conduct informative public and school student tours of the Parliamentary complex, including educational tours with interactive activities.
**Administration**: Provide administration support to the Parliamentary Education and Liaison Team within Chamber and Education Services. Support the reception team and other Parliamentary Services projects as required.

**Professionalism**: Well-developed interpersonal skills, including a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism, presenting a good image of Parliamentary Services to both internal and external stakeholders.
**Independence**: Ability to work with limited supervision, ensuring tasks are completed and deadlines are adhered to.
**Tour Conducting**: Ability to conduct tours of the Parliamentary Precinct for members of the public and work in the Legislative Assembly.
**Technical Proficiency**: Demonstrated ability in using the Microsoft Office Suite for administrative tasks or the ability to become competent within a reasonable period.
**Knowledge**: Thorough knowledge or the ability to acquire thorough knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of Attendant staff within the Parliamentary Precinct.
You must possess a current Working with Children Blue Card before commencing in this position.
