We are currently seeking a dedicated Primary school teacher for our multi-age classroom that consists of students in years 4-6. Experienced or beginning teachers are encouraged to apply
Kentville State School is a wonderful small school. Our school, which opened in October 1907, enjoys panoramic views of the beautiful Lockyer Valley. To the west, our view is of the towering Great Dividing Range. What a great place to live, learn and grow as young citizens. Kentville State School, like all state schools, enjoys a reputation for providing a quality education in a beautiful rural setting.
Kentville (pop ~ 100) is a rural locality that is at the Eastern edge of the rich Lockyer Valley. With a number of larger towns at your doorstep, you'll be only 55 kms from Toowoomba (Queensland's largest inland city: pop-170,000) where you'll find a vibrant cultural, dining and entertainment scene, beautiful parks and gardens, and 50 kms from Ipswich, on the Warrego Highway, and then on to Brisbane and the coasts beyond.
Please refer to our website to get an insight to what we do and achieve each week.
