**Job Purpose**: The Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment to ensure the smooth operation of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This role requires a strong focus on safety, compliance with Australian plumbing standards, and delivering high-quality workmanship.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Installation and Maintenance**:

- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial, residential, and industrial settings.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- **Project Execution**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Collaborate with other trades and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
- **Compliance and Safety**:

- Ensure all plumbing work complies with the Australian Plumbing Standards and local regulations.
- Adhere to workplace health and safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- **Troubleshooting and Repairs**:

- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues, such as leaks, blockages, and equipment malfunctions.
- Provide recommendations for system upgrades or preventative maintenance.
- **Customer Service**:

- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing clear explanations and updates.
- Maintain a professional demeanour and ensure client satisfaction.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including job logs, material usage, and time tracking.
- Prepare reports as required by management or project supervisors.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Certificate III in Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in both residential and commercial projects.
- Valid Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment.
- Current Australian Driver’s License.

Pay: $79,040.00 - $98,800.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
