Sportsmart is currently seeking a FULL TIME retail sales assistant to join our team at our Preston location.

**Store Location**:Preston

**Role Type**: Full Time (38 hours per week on a Tuesday to Saturday roster).

**Departments**:High focus on sales, service and merchandising in the Clothing and Footwear departments along with Fitness, Bat, Racquet & Ball sports.

We're looking for a bright, active and outgoing individual who has a passion for sport to help us expand our sporting goods and equipment business. If you are comfortable working in a fast paced team environment and meeting targets than you will enjoy being part of the Sportsmart team.

The positions available will help you expand your career in retail and the sporting goods market and you will be exposed to many opportunities.

Here are some of the qualities we are looking for:

- A passion for sport & fitness especially community and grass roots sport
- Outgoing and energetic personality with a passion for assisting customers with their sporting needs
- Strong belief in teamwork and team development
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Customer service skills
- Experience in dealing with high stock volumes in a retail environment
- Merchandising & visual presentation in detail

If you think you are up to the challenge we want to hear from you. **This is 38 hour per week position on a Tuesday to Saturday roster.** Regular weekend work is required as well work over peak retail periods including Public Holidays as required.
