We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at The Village Bottle shop. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service, assisting with the management of store inventory, and ensuring the store is well-organized and inviting for customers. Your passion for the alcohol industry and your commitment to delivering outstanding service will help our customers find the perfect products and enhance their shopping experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist customers in a professional, friendly, and knowledgeable manner.
- Provide product recommendations, information on wines, spirits, beers, and other alcoholic beverages based on customer preferences and needs.
- Process sales transactions quickly and accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Ensure store shelves are well-stocked and products are displayed in an organized and visually appealing way.
- Maintain store cleanliness, ensuring a tidy and safe shopping environment.
- Verify customer ages to ensure compliance with local alcohol regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries, returns, and concerns in a professional manner.

**Requirements**:

- NSW RSA Certificate
- At least 18 years of age
- Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred.
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverages is an advantage, but not required (training will be provided).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and move products as needed
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
