**Role**: Maintenance Inspection Officer

**Where**:West Moreton region of South East Queensland

**Length**: 3-6 months+ extension

**Pay**: 65ph+ super

In the role of maintenance inspection officer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and longevity of our region's vital infrastructure, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough asset inspections, managing inspection software, and contributing to the development of comprehensive maintenance programs. You will also have opportunity to act up in a coordinator role with the possibility of internal progression down the track

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct asset inspections for roads and related infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain asset inspection software.
- Implement quality assurance for asset software and documentation.
- Generate system reports as needed.
- Assist in developing and managing maintenance inspection programs.
- Collect and organize data for future works programs.
- Provide guidance for maintenance activities and inspections.
- Assist in preparing maintenance programs and project briefs.
- Collaborate in process improvement efforts.
- Provide timely reports and briefings.
- Ensure tasks are completed on time and adhere to safety standards.

**Qualifications/Technical Skills**:

- Proficient in computer systems and data verification.
- Ability to manage inspections efficiently.
- Interpret construction and maintenance plans.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Customer-focused mindset.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Certificate IV in Civil Construction/Maintenance or relevant experience.
- Current "C" class driver's license.
- Construction induction course.

**Knowledge**:

- Advanced computer program understanding.
- Familiarity with asset data collection techniques (desirable).
- Knowledge of road, bridge, and drainage practices.
- Awareness of construction materials and testing (desirable).
- Understanding of management systems and quality assurance.
- Workplace Health and Safety knowledge.

**Experience**:

- Proficiency in complex computer programs.
- Previous experience in road maintenance.
- Experience in project management (desirable).
