**Your New Company**:
This company is a world-class processing, distribution and export business of fresh fruit and vegetables, predominately carrots grown at their own farms. They export fresh produce to Asia and the Middle East.

**Your New Role**:
The focus of the role is to service and maintain all production machinery, equipment and plant.

Resolve operational or technical equipment problems to minimize process interruptions resulting from equipment breakdown.

Working as a member of the Maintenance Team and contributing to a positive team environment.

This is a fast-paced position; you will be required to resolve mechanical issues quickly and efficiently to enable production to run smoothly and on time to meet crucial deadlines.

**As well as this, you will be responsible to**:

- Preventative maintenance of plant and equipment
- Resolve operational or technical equipment problems
- Installing new production plant and equipment
- Servicing and maintaining motors, conveyor systems, transmission/drive systems and related production equipment
- Inspecting and accessing the functionality of production machines and troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic breakdowns
- Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades
- Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks
- Liaising with Production Team regarding maintenance/servicing of the production plant and equipment

**Your Profile**:

- Appropriate Trade Qualifications.
- Extensive experience working as a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter in a production environment or similar
- Good working knowledge of automated conveyor systems and pneumatics
- Able to prioritise tasks
- A mature attitude with a logical and methodical approach
- Ability to work in a team or individually
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Committed to Workplace Health and Safety
- Excellent work ethic
- Flexibility with hours
