The Role
Set in the Southern Highlands, among eight acres of magnificent English-style Gardens, Annesley Bowral provides a serene backdrop for a vibrant life. This charming village offers quality amenities, friendly neighbours and a tranquil setting for our residents and their families.
Annesley Bowral have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Officer to join our friendly team, on a Permanent Full-Time Basis.
As the Maintenance Officer you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance tasks throughout the Village. You will be working closely with the Village Manager to ensure the buildings and fixtures are well maintained and presentable. In this role you will liaise directly with the Village Manager to ensure projects undertaken are safe, timely and completed to a quality standard.
As a Maintenance Officer, your duties will include;- Carrying out preventative maintenance tasks as per scheduled in an organised and proactive manner.- Have a customer-focused approach to all tasks, whilst developing strong and positive relationships with residents, contractors and visitors.- Engaging with and coordinating contractors as required.- Adhering to EHS procedures, ensuring safety for all residents, contractors and visitors.
About You
The successful applicant will have demonstrated competence as a maintenance officer or experience in a similar role, as well as:
- Be a friendly face to the residents & work alongside a fantastic team.- Ability to perform a variety of general maintenance & repairs tasks including the use of tools and equipment.- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.- Excellent communication skills- Basic computer skills including Microsoft office.- A Current Full Driver’s Licence

Please note: The successful applicant must complete a Police Check & will be required to receive an annual flu vaccination between the months of April-October. For selected roles more physical in nature, pre-employment medical assessments may also be required prior to any employment offers being made.
