About the Role
As the Associate Director, Commercial Rates in our Team, you’ll play a key role in helping to develop, deliver and execute Rates for Markets within the Commercial customer franchise and improve the delivery of risk management solutions. You and the Commercial Rates team will provide risk management services across a range of interest rate hedging products. You will cover customers across metro and regional areas, driven by business requirements.

What will your day look like?
As the Associate Director, Commercial Rates, you are accountable for:

- Achieve revenue targets for individual customer set.
- Support Commercial Rates business to deliver their financial targets.
- Improve customer satisfaction and franchise feedback.
- Understand and meet customer needs, solve problems, deepen relationships and offer alternative risk solutions.
- Identify cross sell opportunities and work with partners to deliver.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for process improvement and automation to improve the customer and employee experience.
- Work with Relationship to deliver suitable risk management products into the Commercial customer base.
- Collaborate with Relationship and product partners to provide client-centric coverage.
- Promote collaborative relationships and culture across the Commercial Rates Team.
- Create learning opportunities out of everyday situations to build product and customer knowledge.
- Alignment and adherence with both Markets governance policies, processes, standards and with external regulatory requirements
- Demonstrate the ANZ values and culture.

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

- Markets sales experience, with a customer focus.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to influence and collaborate with cross functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of Markets product and processes.
- Adapts future approach based on previous experience, mistakes and developmental feedback.
- Proven ability to identify customer opportunities, build relationships and provide effective risk management solutions.
- Tertiary qualified and relevant professional industry accreditation preferred [Australian Financial Markets Association (AFMA), / Financial Markets Certificate ]
- Good organiser including competent time management skills and ability to work across multiple items concurrently.
