Casual Weekend Mr/hr Driver

**Role Purpose**: To complete all aspects of delivery runs in compliance with the Agreed Delivery Method (ADM), Delivery In Full On Time (DIFOT). General dock/warehouse duties as appropriate.
This role is to cover our Saturday deliveries.
**Key Accountabilities**:
Demonstrate and promote satisfactory food safety, quality and hygiene standards alongside Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) safe work practices.
Drive and support HACCP and GMP in consultation with the team.
Utilising handheld equipment appropriately and ensuring the return and charge on a daily basis and fault reporting as required.
Ensure that the vehicle is bulk loaded according to the ‘Run Totals’ and to check that the residual Stock On Hand (SOH) matches the estimated SOH Sheet.
Deliver In Full On Time (DIFOT) all quantities of product, depicted on each order.
Pick-up and return all available empty crates and dollies from customers whilst ensuring the correct handling of dollies laden with empty crates.
Liaise with customers whilst observing store regulations in order to develop strong and successful business relationships with all customers.
Fully and accurately complete any forms involved in the completion of duties, ensuring that any matters that require checking or escalating are done so (immediately if urgent or by the end of shift) to the Supervisor or, in their absence, the Team Leader.
Participate in general Warehouse housekeeping at all times.
**Policies and Procedures**:
Adhere to all Company and local Policies and Procedures and SOPs including Food Safety and Product Quality, including any amendments, or new policies and procedures that may be implemented.
**OHS**:
Ensure OHS standards and procedures are maintained at all times.
Promote and practice safe work methods.
Follow quality system procedures and safety practices.
Role model appropriate behaviour to all staff.
Reports injuries immediately and completes Incident Reports immediately.
Suggest improvements and preventive actions for the Company.
Participate in Risk Assessment and formulating SOPs as required.
**Critical Competencies**:
Physically fit for role (pre-employment medical will be required - ability to lift/lower up to 20kgs in a safe manner);
Current Victorian driving licence - MR essential, HR highly desirable.
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
The ability to work autonomously when required;
High attention to detail;
Have a strong commitment to act and work in a safe manner at all times;
The ability to follow process and procedures;
Literacy and numeracy skills at a level appropriate to role;
Customer focused;
Effective Communication e.g. keeping Management and relevant parties aware and seeking advice and assistance when required and responding to phone calls or messages in a timely manner;
Team worker;
Forklift licence - desirable
