As the AML Manager at Swyftx, you will play an important role in managing our Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Terrorism Financing risks across our platform. You will help guide the compliance team by implementing efficiencies to ensure our AML/CTF obligations are met to a high standard while maintaining a positive and smooth customer experience; and assist the Compliance Manager with implementing policies and procedures and reviewing risks.

**What you’ll do**:

- Ensure appropriate training, processes and procedures exist for effective oversight of AML/CTF.
- Assist with ensuring functional compliance with AML regulation in Australia, New Zealand, and any new jurisdictions Swyftx enters.
- Develop systems and processes to improve efficiency, and reduce customer friction when completing Initial, Ongoing, and Enhanced Customer Due Diligence.
- Liaise with the fraud team to ensure any ML/TF risks are appropriately dealt with/reported.
- Manage the ongoing development of team members.

**About you**:

- Previous working experience in financial crime and AML/CTF.
- Solid understanding of the current global financial crime landscape, and motives, trends, and indicators of ML/TF.
- Experience with conducting risk assessments and policy development.
- A self starter with prior people management experience who has excellent written & verbal communication skills along with proven organisational & time management skills.
- CAMS certification or other AML qualifications eg. ICA would be highly beneficial.
