**About the Role**:
A great opportunity exists for a Grade 1 Cardiac Physiologist to join our dynamic team of dedicated paediatric Cardiac Physiologists, on a part time fixed term basis for 6 months at 30.4 hours per fortnight. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is keen to learn and develop as a paediatric Cardiac Physiologist in a world leading Cardiology centre. You will provide clinical supervision and opportunities for continuing professional development and will be involved in working in our busy Arrhythmia Department.
**What You'll Achieve**:
- You will perform 15-Lead paediatric ECGs
- Fitting holter monitors to paediatric patients
- Analysing returned holter monitors and preparing a preliminary report for the Cardiologist
- Performing standard exercise treadmill stress tests and Cardiopulmonary exercise tests
- Pacemaker interrogation and troubleshooting of a range of different devices/vendors (dependent on experience)
- Involved with managing the day-to-day running of a busy paediatric Arrhythmia service
**Your Skills and Experience**:
- A Bachelor of Applied Science or Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in a health science discipline (or in the process of completing your undergraduate degree)
- Previous experience in a Cardiology Arrhythmia practice (paediatric experience would be highly beneficial)
- An ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- An ability to carefully plan, organise and prioritise tasks
- An understanding of the need to deliver high quality care to our paediatric patients and their families
- Commitment to ongoing education and skill development
