**Your Role**

An exciting opportunity exists to join our team as a Lead Product Designer. You will be working closely with our HomeMade Product team to deliver a platform that supports HomeMade customers to self manage their home care packages and remain in control of their services and support.

Reporting to our Delivery Lead, this is an opportunity to join a new, vibrant team and function and really make it your own by working on the strategy and building out the processes.

**_The role offers a hybrid working arrangement and will require you to be based in Sydney and work out of our CBD office from time to time.

**_Some of your responsibilities will include and are not limited to:_**
- Lead the product design function, developing process for delivering high quality UX/UI on the HomeMade platform.
- Facilitate ideation and solution design across product and service, working with the product leadership team to define the roadmap and prioritise work.
- Be a strategic partner to the operation team, data and engineering leader, shaping and influencing opportunity areas for continued experience uplift and innovation within the product team.
- Be on the UX/UI tools as an individual contributor.
- Collaborate effectively across the business, to align on a thoughtful product experience that supports customer needs.
- Confidently craft and communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process from wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mock up and/or high fidelity prototypes.
- Scope and facilitate user research and usability testing; supporting customer understanding and iterative conceptual design of our platform experience.
- Advocate for the prioritisation of customer centric changes, refinement and improvements; while balancing business goals and technical feasibility.
- Convey design intent through compelling creation and utilisation of personas, user-journeys and other storytelling frameworks; driving alignment and understanding of a diverse customer base.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have prior experience working across the design field, with exposure to working in product and technology teams. Your communication skills will be second to none, with strong levels of empathy for our customers. You'll come with a mastery of Figma and other emergent UX and UI tools, whilst having the ability to scope and conduct user research to rapidly test solutions. Ideally, we'd love you to have experience working in health, wellbeing and/or aged care sectors; highlighting a maturity in understanding the diversity of needs across our platform.
