Bluefin Resources are working with a prestigious government enterprise to recruit a Data Analyst that has strong capabilities in HR Data migrations. This will be for an initial 9 month contract with further extensions (program of work expected to run for 3 years).

**About the work**:
The department is modernising, streamlining and transforming its people management systems and process to meet the demands of a growing system. This journey will transform some of the department's most important HR functions through improved processes as well as a more integrated and consistent user experience. **Role accountabilities**:

- Contribute to data profiling activities and guide business about data cleansing activities in the source
- Create and revise the mapping of legacy data whilst being a point of contact for relevant data migration activities
- Write specifications for data migration aligned with data reconciliation framework
- Ensure legacy system coverage and the preparedness of data to be migrated for the deployment of the HCM solution
- Report on data verification activities and review, validate and approve the extracted, mapped, and loaded data for migration
- Manage the creation of data verification scripts and associated documentation whist reporting on data verification activities
- Produce end to end ETL report and work with business SMEs to determine plan of action.
- Assist in the resolution of data migration defects, particularly when these relate to data verification issues.

**Ideal characteristics of the role**
- Demonstrable data migration experience with HR data sets within HCM systems
- Strong data migration experience with SAP SuccessFactors
- Excellent data migration experience in a large private and/or public sector organisation
- High attention to detail and strong documentation and stakeholder skills

**On Offer** - This is an initial 9 month contract with a high chance of extensions. 3 days working from home and 2 days in the Parramatta/Redfern offices.
