As the Investment Performance & Risk Reporting Manager, you will manage investment performance, risk and reporting within Investments Operations and Control

As the
**Investment Performance & Risk Reporting Manager**, you will manage investment performance, risk and reporting within Investments Operations and Control (Investment Management). The analytical function is key to ensuring that a robust framework is built and that tools are available and applied to undertake performance and attribution reporting, along with investment capital & risk reporting.

**What you will do**
- Development of the Performance & Risk Analytics function in line with the ongoing transformation of Investment Operations & Control
- Overall accountability for the framework around investment performance, investment capital, investment income and risk analytics deliverables
- Delivery and presenting investment performance, attribution analytics and investment reporting to various investment committee
- Delivery and enhancement of investment ex-post and ex-ante risk analytics, risk sensitivities, stress test, credit risk, and asset risk charge calculations for both asset and asset liability management.
- Improving reporting and awareness of investment risks exposures relative to the firms risk appetite
- Delivery and enhancement of information dissemination and data analytics e.g. Tableau/Power BI, Revolution, Sharepoint, Bloomberg
- Delivery and enhancement of investment accounting income performance, attribution, budget and forecasting framework and reporting
- Oversight and data control of all external custodian and investment manager investment reporting and data feeds to ensure data integrity
- Accountability for Board, Investment Committee reporting time frames and content
- Accountability for harnessing available data to provide near time decision making and investment management reporting
- Contribute to the management of mandate compliance and governance framework
- Provide effective leadership across the Investment Operations & Control Group
- Drive a culture of continuous improvements to develop new and enhanced approaches, to meet changing business needs and staff development initiatives
- Support direct staff and other teams in the delivery of internal and external stakeholder requirements and initiatives

**What you need to bring**
- Formal qualification in mathematics, finance, commerce, actuarial, or science - Mandatory
- Relevant post graduate studies e.g. CFA, FRM - Desired
- Minimum of 7 years’ industry experience and or 3-5 years at a senior level in investment performance and risk
- Solid knowledge of fixed income attribution, risks and modelling techniques
- Strong knowledge of performance and attribution methodologies
- Excellent quantitative skills
- Knowledge of programming e.g. VBA and database/SQL advantageous
- Highly developed written, verbal communication and stakeholder management across multiple business lines and custodian
- Leadership and significant experience in deployment of risk and analytical solutions and supporting technology for investment asset owners
- Deep experience in performance and attribution reporting for all instrument types including fixed income, convertibles, infrastructure, property and equities including derivative instruments
- Risk modelling of all asset classes e.g. credit, index linked bonds, structured assets, convertible bonds, equities, unlisted assets, derivatives etc
- Data visualisation analytics experience e.g. Tableau/Power BI and SQL/database knowledge
- Demonstrated leadership skills in relation to providing strong direction and management of team reporting
- Strong people management skills, including the ability to engage, seek and influence senior management
