Bethanie Peel is seeking a passionate, organised and energetic **Therapy Assistant** to work with our residents as part of the Therapy Team. Bethanie Peel is a 50-Bed Aged-Care Home with a relaxed and homely feel. Join our friendly and close-knit team at Bethanie Peel

We are looking for people with a passion for working with people of all abilities and backgrounds. You will have an enthusiastic and creative approach to your work and be able to support our residents’ strengths and interests.

We have currently have a **Full-Time** position available working throughout the week including weekends. If you would like further information on the working hours, please inquire

**About the Role**:

- Implement therapy and lifestyle programs for groups and individual residents including residents living with dementia
- Adapt activities to resident’s level of function under the guidance of a Therapist
- Address physical and psychological needs and provide opportunities for meaningful engagement for residents
- Maintain required records

**About You**:

- **Necessary**: Cert 3 or 4 in Allied Health Assistance
- **Necessary**: Experience as a Therapy Assistant in Residential Aged Care Homes
- Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group Inc.
- Demonstrated skills with technology/devices/computer programs that are intended for therapy benefits (e.g. Microsoft Office, Wii, iPad and apps etc.)
- Willingness to recieve all required vaccinations and police clearance
