Factory and Warehouse Supervisor

Spyder Displays is an industry leading Display and Exhibition company that works with some of Australia’s largest brands. We have been supplying quality solutions nationwide for over 35 years. With inhouse fabrication and warehousing, we are looking for an expierenced Factory supervisor.

The Role

We require an Factory Supervisor to lead our team, working alongside our print production staff to build, pack and send our products nationwide. This is a hands-on role suitable to a reliable and hardworking individual.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Supervise a small experienced team in our factory (2-3 staff).
- Overseeing manufacturing to ensure time frames are met and products delivered to the highest quality.
- Overseeing stock levels to meet the required demand.
- Ensuring the manufacturing and warehouse areas are always safe and clean.
- Loading trucks and coordinating deliveries.
- Working closely with our print production manager to deliver.
- A good communicator.
- Excellent attention to detail (critical).
- Great organisational & time management skills.
- The ability to work unsupervised.
- Able to quickly assess problems & communicate solutions effectively.

To be considered for this role we will be looking for the following:

- 2+ years working in a workshop or factory environment in a supervisor or manager role.
- A keen interest in learning new processes and products
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
- A hands-on approach to working with the team.
- A strong sense of pride in your work
- Ability to work quickly and under pressure
- A team mindset - eager to jump in and help
- Clear and respectful communication skills
- Ability to multi-task at times.
- Be physically fit
- Have a driver’s license
- Experience in the print, sign or exhibition industry would be a benefit (but not essential)
- Previous practical experience with building products may be of benefit.
