About the role

In this newly created role, as a Consumable Stores Co-ordinator, you will be the conduit between Lifeblood donor centres, laboratories, internal supply planning teams and our third-party logistics provider. Collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders, your role is to ensure the effective and efficient supply and distribution of consumables and critical materials.

Acting as the first point of contact for Lifeblood internal team, you’ll follow up and resolve issues relating to the receipt, transfer or return of consumable items managed and distributed through our 3PL provider.

You’ll work closely with the provider in identifying corrective actions and solutions to inventory stock requirements and identifying improvements that will continue to support Lifeblood.

Operational knowledge and experience of supply chain and distribution processes and principles

Strong customer centric focus

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Ability to respond to competing and changing priorities, whist maintaining a high level of customer service.

Ability to work autonomously within a geographically dispersed team

Current Fork Lift Operator licence (desirable)
