DOCKHAND/FREIGHT HANDLER - BALLARAT

Our client is an international courier delivery services company who delivers close to one million consignments on a daily basis.

Chandler Macleod is now seeking fit and energetic Freight Handlers and Dockhands to join an industry leading Freight Transport provider for our client site in Wendouree.

This role is for an immediate start and involves duties such as pallet breakdowns, stacking and wrapping pallets, unloading and loading drivers, sorting of parcel freight and cartons, forklift driving and general warehousing - Please note this is a physically demanding role in a fast paced environment.

To be successful you MUST have:

- Driver’s License and own transport - Essential
- Forklift License - Essential
- MR license or higher - Preferred
- Willing to undergo Australian Federal Police Check - Must return clean to be successful
- Willing to submit and pass a Full Medical examination - Drug & Alcohol assessment
- A good work ethic and reliability
- A high level of physical fitness and the ability perform repetitive lifting of 20kg
- Previous experience in transport/logistics or sorting freight highly regarded
- A high level of physical fitness and the ability perform repetitive lifting of 20kg
- Full availability from 5:30am - 9:30am Monday - Friday
