**In the role of Operations Officer (Stores) you will manage and coordinate the receipting, storage, packaging and despatch of warehouse inventory within the business unit. You will manage the day-to-day costing/financial services and information in relation to inventory management.

Accountabilities include:

- Liaise and negotiate with internal and external customers and suppliers regarding the acquisition of goods and services.
- Monitor, analyse and report on the financial position of an inventory project and provide early advice to management of any deviations beyond predetermined limits.
- Undertake financial transactions reconciliations and costing using various departmental software packages for example, SAP, MYOB.
- Prepare financial documentation through the usage of various departmental software packages to ensure correct recording of financial transactions.
- Investigate, recommend and implement better methods of providing goods and services including working closely with the customer to ensure their needs are met.
- Process data entry of warehouse goods received using inventory management software.

Desirable requirements:

- A current, valid Queensland 'MR Truck' class driver's licence or equivalent in order to carry out store deliveries.
- A current, valid Forklift Ticket / licence is also required.
- Ability to work both a morning and evening shift to meet the requirements of the morning and night crews.
