Hydraulic Consultant

The role is varied, with work spread through various project site locations and in our office in Glebe. The roles tasks include, but are not limited to:

- Attending site inspections and critically appraising site hydraulic infrastructure;
- Liaising with and conveying detailed information to law firms, insurance companies, strata companies, tradespeople, consultants and other project stakeholders;
- Researching and understanding relevant background information, including Australian Standards, council building codes and manufacturer's literature to assist in assessment, report and design preparation;
- Developing and assisting with the production of detailed reports, remedial work specifications and hydraulic design plans.

The following experience and skills are preferable:

- Minimum 2 years of industry experience in hydraulic consulting;
- Completed or currently undertaking a Diploma in Hydraulic Services Design or similar;
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, in particular Word, Excel, and Outlook, and drafting tools such as Bluebeam;
- Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to conceptualise practical solutions to problems;
- Highly developed communication skills (written and verbal), with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to relay information in both technical and non-technical language;
- Ability to coordinate, plan, prioritise, multitask, while working to timeframes;
- Ability to collaborate within a team environment;
- Availability to travel to destinations throughout greater Sydney and on instance NSW North & South Coasts;
- Current driver's licence.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
