**About the Opportunity**

As a Social Worker at ECH, you will be instrumental in enhancing the lives of older adults through expert assessments, compassionate counselling, and comprehensive support services that foster independence and elevate quality of life throughout the aging journey.

Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team, you will provide expert guidance on complex issues including mental health, housing, financial concerns, and family dynamics, while facilitating crucial decision-making processes around guardianship, adult safeguarding, and end-of-life planning.

Drawing on evidence-based practices and cultivating strong stakeholder relationships, you will deliver holistic care that empowers clients to maintain their independence and dignity while living safely in their own homes.

**About You**

Your passion for empowering older adults stems from a deep commitment to preserving their dignity, autonomy, and quality of life. You have a natural ability to connect with people, and you communicate with warmth and patience, adapting your approach to each client's unique personality and needs.

You will combine exceptional conflict resolution skills with extensive mental health experience, allowing you to navigate complex situations with a measured and rational approach.

Your calm and collected demeanor enables you to build trust with clients and colleagues alike, fostering an environment of collaboration and mutual respect while effectively managing challenging situations with composure and professional judgment.

**Essential Criteria**
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work
- Membership with the Australian Association of Social Work
- Manual Handling
- National Police check
- Driver’s licence
