**Role Overview**

As a Tutor at Schoolola Tutoring, you will provide exceptional instruction & outstanding customer service while contributing to the success and growth of the Girraween branch. This position blends high-quality teaching with essential operational responsibilities to ensure every student benefits from a comprehensive and enriching academic experience.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Tutoring Delivery**:

- Teach **English and Mathematics** to Kindergarten to Year 6 students using Schoolola’s booklets.
- Deliver **Schoolola’s TMRW (Thinking, Mathematical Reasoning, Reading, and Writing) Course** using provided materials.
- Facilitate **OC/Selective/ NAPLAN 3,5 Preparation Practice Exam** classes with a focus on strategies for Thinking Skills, Reading, Writing, and Math Reasoning.
- Be versatile to deliver STEAM Hub sessions after school and in holiday camps.

**2. Student Support**:

- Provide individualized attention to address diverse learning needs.
- Offer constructive feedback to build student confidence and skills.
- Help students enhance their performance & help them achieve their goals
- Foster a safe and engaging learning environment for students, ensuring their academic growth and encouraging long-term retention.

**3. Parent Communication**:

- Provide regular feedback to parents on students' progress.
- Parent support and guidance.

**4. Operational Duties**:

- Administer **diagnostic assessments** for new students to evaluate academic levels.
- Ensure accurate documentation of student attendance, lesson content, and progress.
- Marking and checking homework assignments as well as mid-term and end-of-term assignments
- Facility maintenance

**5. Collaboration & Development**:

- Participate in **professional development** sessions through **Schoolola Academy**.
- Work closely with the Girraween team to maintain high operational and teaching standards.

**6. Marketing Support**:

- Participate in **marketing initiatives**, including online and in-person events (indoor and outdoor), to promote Schoolola’s programs.
- Demonstrate professional **telephone etiquette** when communicating with parents and prospective leads.

**Qualifications**
- **Desirable**: Past attendance/graduation from a **Selective School (with strong ATAR scores)** or participation in a gifted **program**.
- Working towards teaching qualifications or holding a teaching qualification is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching primary school students.

**Key Selection Criteria**
- Familiarity with teaching English and Mathematics for Kindergarten to Year 6.
- Previous tutoring experience with **OC & Selective preparation** batches highly desirable
- **Strong communication and interpersonal skills** to engage effectively with students and parents.
- Willingness to participate in **marketing activities**, both online and in-person (indoor & outdoor).
- Professional **telephone etiquette** to support communication with parents and prospective leads.
- A valid **Working with Children Check (WWCC)** is mandatory.
- Willingness to commute reliably to Girraween.

**Additional Information**
- **Work Hours**: Monday to Friday (4:00 PM - 7:00 PM) and Saturdays (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM).
