We are currently seeking an experienced full-time **Corporate Hospitality Manager (Unit Manager)** to join our team in **Traralgon South.** In this role you will oversee and manage the daily production of the kitchen and service as well as manage all aspects of the site financials and client reporting
**The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to**:
- Client management, event planning and operational setup to deliver successful functions
- Mentoring and growing your team
- Conduct regular site inspections, client follow-ups, and liaison, ensuring operation meets Compass Group standards
- Work cooperatively with the operations and kitchen teams daily, provide strong leadership and guidance
- Consistently re-evaluate working practices in terms of efficiency, innovation and cost-cutting procedures and seek out and implement new practices where required
- Invest in relationships with industry peers and colleagues to ensure best practice methods are applied and the team is up to date with industry/global trends
**The Person**
- Demonstrated experience at the management level, qualifications in hospitality with business management preferred
- Experience in a comparable environment or within a multi-site catering environment
- Ability to connect with key stakeholders and deliver superior service levels
- A proactive leader who is professional, positive, supportive, and motivated with experience in recruiting, mentoring, training and developing a team of hospitality professionals
