**About The Role**

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the primary role of Mattress Builder is to assemble mattresses from pre-cut and pre-selected materials to be ready for the final sewing/finishing process.

**Key tasks and responsibilities include**:

- Following daily production schedules
- Work in teams of 2 to build various types of mattresses
- Use air powered staple and glue guns
- Moving of product to conveyor in time for the next process
- Adherence to set production and WHS procedures
- Quality inspection of work in progress
- Daily cleaning of surrounding area
- Any reasonable additional duties / assisting others

**Selection Criteria**
- Previous experience in a similar role desirable but not necessary
- Keen to learn as training provided as required
- Experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or factory environment is a plus
- Forklift license is a plus

**Salary**: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Thomastown, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
