**Are You Looking to start your career in Early Childhood?**

The Little School Preschool Inc are excited to offer a Full time 18 month contract for a Certificate III Early Education Traineeship.

Your traineeship will see you learn on the job whilst being mentored and supported by our experienced staff and our nominated training provider.

We are looking for a warm, energetic and professional individual with great communication skills. Someone who is passionate about working with preschool aged children and providing them with the best possible care and learning.

This is an excellent opportunity for those leaving school or those wanting to kick-start their career in Early Childhood.

**About the role**

As a trainee educator, you are expected to be an active team member of a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children. This includes but is not limited to:

- Developing strong relationships with children at the service;
- Developing strong relationships that support and partner with families and the community;
- Implementing the policies and associated procedures of the organisation at all times; and
- Working with other staff towards continuous improvement in all areas of the service’s operations.

**About You**
- A friendly and courteous nature and are committed to caring for children.
- Able to contribute to a friendly, smooth and continuously improving preschool environment, where children feel safe and families feel welcome.
- Keen to learn how to manage daily care routines, and associated administrative and compliance tasks.
- Aware of the importance in maintaining health and safety standards, and risk minimisation.
- A current Working with Children check or the ability to obtain one
- Must be over 18 years of age.
