Technology People are working with a leading energy company looking to bring on a
**Senior Test Analyst** for a 24 month contract on one of their biggest programs of work.

As the Senior Test Analyst, you will provide efficient and effective testing services to optimise delivery of product quality and business value.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts, and other testing artifacts.
- Develop high quality test case suites for feature, regression, integration and performance testing.
- Performing Exploratory Testing
- Design and development of Test Execution plans.
- Report test results, including defect identification and reporting, re-testing and regression testing.
- Participate in agile ceremonies
- Be able to provide support in Kick-off Meetings to develop and define scenarios and acceptance tests
- Provide effective use of appropriate testing techniques, ensuring adequate test coverage.

**Key Requirements:
- Experience in Information Technology with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, development, and delivery work practices.
- Solid understanding and concepts of Databases E.g. Oracle
- Knowledge of software development frameworks and delivery methodologies, particularly Agile (Scrum, Kanban).
- Demonstrated experience in the foundations of software testing with the knowledge and ability to implement test strategies and plans.
- Understanding of the ITIL Service Management framework.
- Working knowledge of Continuous Integration and deployment and supported integration testing in the development pipeline.
- Knowledge of Testing and Test automation frameworks tools such as Zephyr Enterprise, Test Management Tools, VCS tools such as Git, JIRA, Confluence, bitbucket, Zephyr for JIRA, Jenkins, Azure DevOps and ServiceNow.
