Iron Mine Contracting (IMC) was formed to provide Civil, Mining, Crushing and Screening and Indigenous partnering opportunities to the West Australian market. IMC and its associated indigenous Joint Venture partners have been delivering projects to Tier 1 Resource clients including Rio Tinto, Woodside Petroleum, Northern Star Resources FMG, Roy Hill, Novo Resources, Liontown Resources, Saracen Minerals and Newcrest Mining amongst others since 2013. With extensive experience working for clients in remote areas and a deep body of knowledge gained from its diverse multidisciplinary team, IMC understands the specific challenges that constructing and delivering for its Western Australian clients presents.

We have opportunities available for experienced
**Blast Hole Drillers** to join IMC on a brand new 3-year lithium mining project located in Kathleen Valley. The Blast Hole Driller is a valued member of a cohesive team which is integral to our portfolio of mining and civil projects within the business.

**Essential to the role**:

- Previous and proven drilling experience in a hard rock mining
- Experience operating top hammer Sandvik DP1500i drill rigs or similar top hammer rigs - ie. Epiroc T45, Roc L7, CAT MD 5120
- Basic mechanical repair skills
- Current WA Dangerous Goods Security Card or ability to obtain - Desirable
- Current drivers’ licence
- Current National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
- Previous exposure to hot work environments.
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screen

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- Safe use & operation of drill rigs
- Ensuring compliance to drilling designs
- Accurate recording of daily work tasks
- Conducting basic daily drill rig servicing & maintenance
- Assistance to maintenance fitter if required
- Assistance on blast crew at times if required
