**Pest Control / Fumigation Technician**

Our client is a specialist in import & export Biosecurity Treatments and post-harvest treatments. They are currently looking for a full-time person for a position in their team located in the Port Adelaide area.

You will be assisting the Senior Technicians in providing Biosecurity treatments in (Import/Export Shipping containers, Sheeted stacks, Chambers and Silos). The treatment reporting is mostly Phone APP based, so confidence in using APP based programs is essential.

At times you will be communicating face to face with clients so it is essential that you have strong communication skills and professionalism. This is a well-established, stable and reliable team of people who all work together collaboratively to service the company’s client base well.

Some country travel and overnight stays from time to time to service regional clients may be required.

The company will provide you with full PPE, training and licensing for ongoing employment.

**Essential**:
Applicants will need to have general laboring or assistant fumigation and / or pest control experience (advantageous), be a permanent resident, have a current drivers license.

This role will need to follow the senior technicians’ instructions, reliable and have a can do attitude.

**It would be desirable to have**:

- Forklift License
- MR Truck License
- First Aid Qualifications
- Previous experience in Biosecurity treatments or Pest Control

A 6-month probationary period applies with pre-employment medical and background checks.

Salary is above the Pest Control Industry Award rate, regular Overtime is available (living away from home allowances) with uniform provided and you will be reporting to the National Fumigation QPS & Post Harvest Supervisor.

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
