The Location

Seabrook, a 122 bed residential aged care facility located minutes from the coastline of Deception Bay. Situated just minutes from the beautiful foreshores of Moreton Bay, Seabrook is also close to parks and playgrounds, as well as a wide range of dining and retail choices with schools and medical centres are just around the corner from the residence.

You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. Every day you will be making a difference in people’s lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families.
- Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times.
- Attend to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables, ensuites and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room.
- Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
- Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required.
- Provide a high quality, effective and efficient laundry service for residents (including laundry sorting, label checking, washing of personal clothing, linen and kitchen napery, folding and ironing), observing appropriate standards and infection control procedures.

You bring: at least 12-months experience in a commercial laundry or professional cleaning role, a real commitment to working safely, fabulous team work skills, basic computer skills and a passion for making a difference.

All aged care employees must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 in order to enter an aged care facility. All successful applicants will be required to provide proof of both vaccinations prior to commencing.
