**About Corporate Communications**

Our respected and high-performing team designs and implements internal and external communication strategies, and manages various communications activities, including publications, PR, media relations, issues and crisis management, brand and reputation management, event management and channel management (website, intranet and social media).

**About the role**

As the Content Producer you will develop innovative content that supports Austin Health and Olivia Newton-John Centre objectives across all channels, and will look after the day-to-day management of our socials.

A regular day will see you:

- **Develop timely and inspiring content that grabs interest, helps share our many exceptional stories and builds engagement**:

- **Maintain the content calendar, ensuring activities align with our objectives and are true to our voice and brand**:

- **Monitor posts and engage with followers on social media platforms; flag issues and help prepare timely and appropriate responses**:

- **Build strong relationships across the organisation and with external partners to source leads and content**

**About you**

Your experience in content production has allowed you to develop efficient ways of working, and a strong ability to connect with your target audience. You understand the nuances of social media management, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- **Experience in managing day-to-day social media on behalf of an organisation**:

- **Experience in crafting content for multiple channels that is tailored for each audience**:

- **Strong writing, image and video skills (experience using Adobe Creative Suite highly desirable)**:

- **The ability to work collaboratively with your team, and build good working relationships across all levels of the organisation**

Selection Criteria Essential: Experience in managing day-to-day social media on behalf of an organisation.
Essential: Experience in crafting content for multiple channels that is tailored for each audience.
Essential: Strong writing, image and video skills.
Essential: Strong project skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Essential: Team player with a positive can-do attitude and the ability to build good working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
Essential: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Essential: A degree in journalism, communications, multimedia or related discipline (or commensurate work experience) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Desirable: Understanding of, and commitment to, cultural safety and health equity.
Desirable: Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) and Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite or similar platform.
Desirable: Experience in implementing social media campaigns and producing podcasts.
Desirable: Experience in project managing major publications, such as annual reports.
