Iron Mine Contracting (IMC) was formed to provide Civil, Mining, Crushing, Screening and Indigenous partnering opportunities to the West Australian market. In collaboration with our associated partners, IMC have been delivering projects to Tier 1 Resource clients including Rio Tinto, Woodside Petroleum, Northern Star Resources FMG, Roy Hill, Saracen Minerals and Newcrest Mining amongst others since 2013.

We are currently seeking experienced Shot firers on a 2:1 roster, day shift only, blasting and loading explosives as per Site requirements

**Role Requirements**:

- Blasting and loading explosives as per Site requirement
- Assembling, positioning and detonating explosives to break or dislodge hard rock
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed before, during and after the blasting activities
- Ensure blast activity is reported, including consumables used
- Ensure magazine is kept organised and tidy
- Carry out blast notifications and clearances
- Interpret blast design and other technical data
- Completion of appropriate blasting records
- Participate in audits and inspections.

**To be successful you will have the following skills and experience**:

- Valid WA HR Licence
- 2-3 years’ experience as a shotfirer
- WA shotfirers Licence
- Dangerous Goods Security Card
- I.T Loader Ticket (Nationally recognised)
- Roller Ticket (Nationally recognised)
