**About the Role**:
We’re looking for **1-2 Florist Assistants** to join our friendly team If you’re passionate about flowers, love working with your hands, and thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment — we’d love to hear from you.

**You’re a great fit if you**:

- Have some experience or training in floristry — whether you're currently studying (e.g. TAFE), have previous industry experience, or completed floristry courses overseas.
- Are looking for part-time/casual work that aligns with your interests and helps you build hands-on experience in a real flower shop.
- Are available 1-3 days per week (Monday to Friday, flexible schedule).
- Are comfortable around dogs — we have two friendly pups in the shop daily, so dog lovers are a plus
- Are cheerful, reliable, and enjoy working in a collaborative team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- General shop maintenance and cleaning
- Flower preparation and care (new arrivals and existing stock)
- Plant care and upkeep
- Assisting the florist with daily orders
- Wrapping flowers and gifts
- Providing friendly customer service
- Opening and closing the shop when required

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $24.95 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
