**Powerlink Machine** is a leading name in global energy production, and we pride ourselves on producing quality energy equipment to a wide range of industries. As a manufacturer, we design, produce and distribute diesel and gas generators, air compressors, lighting towers, as well as providing sales, after-sales and warranty support.
**The Role**
An opportunity has come up for an enthusiastic individual to join in a Service Support Role with a background in electrical/mechanical engineering or a proven work history as a mechanic, able to speak Mandarin and possesses a can-do attitude to join our team to service, maintain and solve problems for our network of clients. This will be a unique opportunity to learn first-hand under a truly experienced mentor about all aspects of our products from the ground up.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
1. Conduct multiple tasks with varying deadlines with a minimum amount of supervision
2. Assist with ongoing projects, action standard operational procedures
3. Have fluency in Mandarin in order to liaise with our factory (both written and verbal) to track the status of tasks, ensure communication with our clients is maintained and actioned in a timely manner in fulfilment of KPI’s
4. Assist in the resolution of complex warranty issues by implementing guidelines from start to finish, provide regular reports to Directors and other team members
5. Engage with clients making warranty claims and triage problems until service/spare parts are able to be delivered, ensuring client satisfaction is maintained
6. Engage with external sub-contractors to carry out on-site maintenance/repairs, including issuing purchase orders and reviewing costs
7. Have proven experience in client relationship management
8. Complete reports on time, covering critical information necessary for management and our head Office
9. Be required to travel with our Sales team from time to time
10. Other duties assigned by managers from time to time
**Key Competencies**
The following competencies will be highly regarded:
1. The ability to analyse and plan to account for any changes in stock ahead of time and be able to convey same to other Departments
2. A keen attention to detail to be able to action changes as and when they occur
3. The ability to work in a team, both within the Warehouse as well with other Powerlink Departments
We also provide company lunches every Wednesday as well as casual Fridays, in addition to functions throughout the year for events such as staff birthdays, Easter, Melbourne Cup and Christmas
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Smithfield, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Electrical/mechanic: 1 year (required)
