**About the opportunity**

As our **Retail Postage Sorter**, you’ll play an important part in keeping millions of Australians connected. As you’d expect, plenty of mail comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day - and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to.

**Role Details**:

- Pay rate** $27.04 /**hour increases to **$28.91/** hour after approx. 3 months, + 12% Superannuation
- 12 weeks on the job paid training, Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week, various shifts
- Permanent Part Time position working 15hrs/week: 3hrs/day - Monday to Friday, 7am - 10am
- Relief team members will be assigned shifts at various Post Offices within a specific area, so you must be willing to work at the following locations: Lane Cove, Chatswood, Willoughby, Crows Nest, Neutral Bay Junction, Mosman, Milsons Point, North Sydney

**You’ll be**
- Manually sorting all mail arriving at the workplace.
- Sorting and distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes.
- Assisting and/or performing administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance.

**About you**
- You’re friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and you love the balance of working in a team environment and autonomously.
- You’re motivated by the opportunity to help make a difference to your community.
- Call upon your memory and hand-eye coordination while sorting.
- Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift.
