- As a Unit Receptionist, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service on the Stroke/Neurology ward. Your responsibilities will include a variety of administrative and receptionist duties, ensuring that our patients, visitors, and staff receive a high standard of service in a busy environment.
- As a Unit Receptionist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and Directing Patients and Visitors: Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for everyone entering the ward.-
- Managing Communications: Answer telephones, respond to inquiries, and ensure accurate recording and delivery of messages.-
- Assisting Patients: Attend to patient requests and refer them to the appropriate person if you are unable to assist directly.-
- Data Entry: Perform data entry tasks into the Patient Administration System to maintain accurate patient records.-
- Maintaining Confidentiality: Ensure that confidentiality is upheld at all times in accordance with privacy regulations.- Your role is vital in providing seamless support to our patients and healthcare team
- About you
- We’re looking for a dedicated and personable individual who brings the following qualifications to the role:
- Previous Experience: Experience in a reception role, preferably within the healthcare industry.-
- Customer Service Focus: A commitment to providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.-
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette. Clerical Skills: Solid clerical and filing skills with relevant experience.-
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and a keen eye for detail.-
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt when needed.-
