**The Role**
The APS 6 Risk Officer at Surveillance and Control Systems Program Office (S&CSPO) is accountable under broad direction for the Coordination, Governance and Oversight of the Risk Management Framework at S&CSPO. You will be accountable to ensure the Risk Management Framework remains compliant with legislative frameworks, government decision-making and policy requirements as it is applied to Risk Management.

Duties include:

- Maintaining policies, procedures and plans related to the S&CSPO Risk Management Framework.
- Conducting governance and compliance checks for the Risk Management Framework.
- Maintaining and updating the S&CSPO Risk Dashboard.
- Briefing S&CSPO Executives on the status of Risks and the Risk Management Framework.
- Supporting Business, Project and Product risk review meetings.
- Coordination of external and conduct of internal Risk Management training at S&CSPO.
- Improve risk management practices through the conduct of regular Risk Management Working Groups.
