Junior Av Installer

Illawarra Support Solutions are seeking a motivated, team-orientated, and friendly individual with a passion for technology. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their skills and build a career in the audio-visual and IT industry.

**The Role**

As a Junior AV Installer/ Technician, you will work closely with a senior installer to deliver, install and configure audio-visual and IT systems at customer sites. Your role will include a diverse range of tasks - from simple TV installation and set-up to data transfers and device diagnostics. You will also have the opportunity to grow into an independent AV Installer/ Technician, managing installations on your own. We offer on-the-job training and provide all the tools and equipment required for the role.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Accompany and support the primary Field Service Technician in their duties when travelling to and on site.
- Assist in the delivery, installation, and configuration of equipment or systems at customer sites.
- Perform initial diagnostics of devices.
- Assist in providing instructions and support to customers.
- Be responsible for site maintenance including clearing rubbish and packaging from installation sites and ensure all sites are left in presentable position.
- Provide IT support and troubleshooting.
- Other responsibilities as per business requirements.

**About You**
- Have experience (or a genuine desire to learn skills) in technical home installations and IT support.
- Be able to perform basic troubleshooting.
- Have strong communication skills.
- Be proactive and able to take on challenges.
- Have excellent time management.
- Hold a current driver's license.
