Settlements Officer - ANZ Plus
Location - Melbourne

The Buy and Own a Home value stream has the ambition to transform how lending is thought of and performed at ANZ. Customers will be able to seamlessly move through the process securely and fast, via the mobile app. We're building this proposition from scratch, it's a great time to join and have a genuine, meaningful impact on the future of owning a home in Australia. As a Settlements Officer, you will be responsible for managing settlements for ANZ Plus home loans and providing your expertise on how to optimise this as our settlement numbers scale.

What will your day look like

We expect that no two days will be the same and you’ll probably find yourself looking for answers to questions you never knew could pop up You’ll have to use your curious mindset, learning agility and tech savviness to focus on finding solutions.

Work with our Buy and Own a Home Coaches to support customers through ‘breaking up’ with their current bank
Manage the end to end settlements process in PEXA
Work closely with the Buy and Own a Home Product Owners to provide insights on how settlements currently work and what it could look like in the future
Proactively spot patterns in the frustrations or hopes of our customers, and see where we can change our processes, tools or products to deliver better experiences.
The best ideas can come from anywhere, be the idea gatherer and feed back to the team
Coach our customer facing support team so they can effectively support the customer through the settlement process

Strong customer focus and interpersonal communication skills
High quality verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Willingness to double checks own work to ensure standards and set guidelines are adhered to
Ability to analyze the root cause of a problem and identify possible solutions
Proactively seeks information to understand a customer circumstances and needs
Focuses on improving the standard of customer experience, process improvement and quality
Open to learning new technology and platforms such as Salesforce
