**About the Role**:
We have an opportunity for a federal government department for
**2 Cloud Experts** with skills in
**AWS **and / or
**Azure** to assist with building and supporting cloud environments.

Your core role will be to plan, design, and implement cloud and business solutions.

**What your day will look like**:

- Developing and implementing proof-of-concept designs
- Analysing relevant business and software requirements for delivery in a cloud environment;
- Providing exceptional technical solutions that are within the Department’s Azure and AWS enterprise pattern;
- Ensuring technical optimisation of the Department’s cloud environments;
- Networking the LAN, WAN and VPN networks;
- Liaising with ICT operational teams to coordinate implementation activities;
- Documenting design and patterns for continued use, and service design documents.

In addition to
**experience in Solution Design**, you will need
**5+ years**’ experience in
**three or more of the following **(a-f):

- (a) Amazon Web Services (AWS) - AWS Lambda - Amazon EC2 - Amazon S3 - Amazon RDS - Amazon VPC - Amazon Dynamo DB - Amazon Route 53 - AWS IAM Identity Center;
- (b) AWS Control Tower - CI/CD Pipeline - Azure DevOps - Jenkins;
- (c) Cloud Automation - Cloud Formation - Scale Services based on load - PowerShell - AWS CLI - AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit);
- (d) Solution Design - Integration with on-premises infrastructure - Availability Zones - Site Redundancy - Region Redundancy - Could Native Applications - Serverless;
- (e) Cloud Networking - VPC - AWS VPN - Web Application Firewall - AWS firewall - Hub and Spoke topology - Transit Gateway - Direct Connect;
- (f) Cloud Governance - ISM (Information Security Manual) - CIS (Center for Internet Security) - PSPF (Protective Security Policy Framework) - Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB).

**Work Arrangements**:

- Onsite is required initially, with consideration available to moving to a hybrid arrangement (minimum 3 days a week onsite).
