The DC Manager will be responsible for providing operational leadership in all logístical functions within the Queensland Distribution Centres. This role is accountable for ensuring an efficient and effective operation with high levels of safety and quality compliance.

As the senior lead, you will strive to deliver to the required service levels whilst maintaining a competitive and cost effective operation.

Based in Brisbane, with responsibility of 3 sites currently located in Banyo, Springwood and Morningside.

**Responsibilities**:

- Establish a positive safety culture through committed and visible leadership to create an environment which engages the team to work safely with the right behaviour;
- Manage each sites operational budget through effective labour allocation equipment utilisation and expense control. Demonstrates an ability to closely monitor and Outlook costs accurately;
- Provide the required level of leadership, coaching and mentoring for all direct reports and the extended team to help foster continuous improvement and strive for best practice;
- Ensure the agreed and understood service levels are achieved or bettered for all customers including order turnaround, compliance to delivery schedules with integrity and accuracy of products ordered;
- Establish effective relationships with all key internal and external parties including sales team, transport providers, labour hire agency, landlord and other relevant parties;
- Ensure all property, assets and amenities are managed accordingly to enable compliance for all legislative and government requirements;
- Comply with all ITW company policies and procedures including but not limited to EEO, anti-discrimination, harassment and bullying, health, safely and environment; and
- Perform any other duties or serve in such other capacity as may be determined by the Company management.

**To be successful in this position you will have**:

- Minimum of 5 years practical experience within the Logistics industry;
- Strong commercial acumen and numerical accuracy;
- Proven ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders across different regions;
- Preferably been responsible for multiple warehouse sites;
- Strong and influential communication style in both written and presentation skillsets;
- Self-motivated, team player, results oriented;
- Business degree or equivalent preferred;
- Previous experience of relocating warehousing sites; and
- Extensive Warehouse / DC industry experience considered favourably.
