As we expand to Shepparton, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Disability Support Program Manager to establish and manage our new office and ensure the successful delivery of our services in the region.

Role Overview:
The Disability Support Program Manager will lead the establishment of the Shepparton office and oversee the ongoing operations, including client care, staff coordination, and community engagement. This role requires strong leadership, operational management skills, and a deep understanding of the NDIS and disability services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Office Establishment and Management:

- Oversee the setup of the Shepparton office, including infrastructure, processes, and staffing.
- Ensure all operations align with organisational standards and NDIS compliance requirements.
- Client Care and Program Delivery:

- Manage and oversee the delivery of disability support programs and services.
- Develop and maintain individualised plans for clients in collaboration with families and stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and goals are met effectively.
- Staff Recruitment and Coordination:

- Recruit, train, and manage a team of support workers and administrative staff for the Shepparton office.
- Provide ongoing leadership, mentorship, and performance management for the team.
- Ensure staff are appropriately matched to clients and supported to deliver high-quality care.
- Community Engagement and Networking:

- Build strong relationships with local stakeholders, including community organisations, healthcare providers, and other service providers.
- Represent Avsar Disability Services at community events and forums to promote awareness and collaboration.
- Operational Oversight:

- Develop and manage budgets, resources, and operational plans for the Shepparton office.
- Monitor and report on the performance of services, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Address and resolve any client or staff issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Proven experience in a leadership or management role within the NDIS or disability services sector.
- Strong knowledge of NDIS guidelines, processes, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, staff, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using case management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A relevant qualification in Disability Services, Social Work, Community Services, or Business Management is highly regarded.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $36.00 - $52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Commission
- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Shepparton, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Healthcare management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)

Work Authorisation:
