**About the Role**:
Working within the centralised resourcing team, the Resource Planner is responsible for the coordination of staff rosters from publication to the day of operation plan. In this role, you will ensure rosters are implemented and maintained in accordance with industrial guidelines and person-centred practices. The Resource Planner is an integral position to supporting the continued success of Minda and its clients.

**In this Role you will be responsible for**:

- Forward planning and managing the published roster into the day of operation plan.
- Ensuring rosters are published and implemented within required timeframes.
- Ensuring the Resource Plan considers and maximises labour efficiencies through use of optimal labour mix and/or labour flexibility (part time, casuals) and resource cross utilisation through business units (where applicable).
- Managing and maintaining leave plans, action absences, allowances and staff movements.
- Managing post day of operation resourcing data, including analysing and reporting on data as required.
- Ensuring the resource plan is aligned with client funding, budgets and financial KPI’s.
- Ensuring all relevant compliance, legislative and regulatory requirements are met.
- Providing technical expertise with a particular emphasis on the continued development of workforce planning best practice.
- Efficiently planning training and maintaining liaison with training department regarding requirements for all staff training.
- Execute tasks associated with resource planning & coordination as prescribed by the Manager, Resourcing and Workforce Planning.
- Knowledge of workforce management principles, health and safety and roster optimisation
- Experience in coordinating rostering services
- Understanding of the NDIA, NDIS, Disability Service Standards and relevant legislation
- Analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and analyse data and present in an appropriate manner
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Suite
- Effective report writing and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate within a team environment and with other departments, families, professionals and stake holders.

**Skills and Qualifications Required**
- A tertiary qualification at degree level in business or a related field. (Desired)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or Valid DHS Disability Screening)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current Driver's Licence
- Unrestricted Working Rights
